With Tummy Tuck get in shape without sweating

I was recently have lunch with a friend and realized how great she looked. I was curious as to the secret to her new, slimmer mid-section and started quizzing her on the secret, as I had only seen her about a month preciously. After much badgering she finally revealed that she had had tummy tuck surgery.

I was curious as to what possessed her to do it, as I always thought she looked great for a mother of three. She explained that after her third child her body just didn’t bounce back the way it had before and she had always proud of her tummy and wanted to get it back. She felt her self-esteem had been affected which then started affecting other parts of her life so she looked for the answer. She’d always exercised but realized that it just wasn’t enough to get her old tummy back.

She started to research tummy tuck surgery, or abdominoplasty, and found out that this type of surgery was perfect for her as it involves the removal of excess fat and skin around the tummy area. Most of the research she did on tummy tuck’s suggested that tummy tuck surgery is best for people who had tried conventional exercise and diet to shift the problem. She also discovered that tummy tuck surgery is very popular amongst women who have had children and are left with that excess skin around the tummy.

I was curious about the procedure as I didn’t know anything about tummy tuck surgery. My friend knew I loved to hear about surgeries so she went through every of the steps of her tummy tuck surgery:

1. A cut was made from hip to hip and just above the pubic area;

2. A second cut was made to her navel, so it has detached from the surrounding tissue;

3. The skin and the abdominal wall are separated and the skin is lifted to reveal the muscle;

4. The abdominal muscles are stitched together in a new position to tighten them. The skin and fat is then pulled tightly over the muscles and towards the site of the first cut;

5. A new hole is cut and stitched for the navel;

6. Excess skin and fat is removed and the first cut is closed.

I was fascinated and wanted to see the scar. She showed me and it was hardly noticeable. She said that she was back at work within two weeks and can’t wait for summer to show of her new tummy. She said that the reason her tummy tuck surgery went so smoothly was because she went to a highly recommended cosmetic clinic – Refine Clinic. She said they were extremely helpful, answered all her questions and addressed her fears and talked her through the whole tummy tuck surgery beforehand.

I left our lunch feeling more informed and curious about my own issues with my tummy and wondering if tummy tuck surgery was for me also. I got the number for Refine Clinic and have an appointment next week. If you’re considering tummy tuck surgery then talk to an expert and have them answer all your questions. Tummy tuck surgery could be for you, but be sure beforehand.
